Hello,

I would suggest that you consider launching your game on Itch.io - (https://itch.io/).

My recommendation is based on several factors.
Firstly, Itch.io is a free platform. This means that anyone can create an account and start uploading games or assets without any financial investment.
Secondly, its user-friendly interface makes it incredibly simple to use and set up your store page.
Lastly, it offers the flexibility to upload games for various platforms, including the web.

Given its simplicity and accessibility, Itch.io is an excellent starting point for beginners in game development.

Hey Amy!

Agreeing with the answers above. Itch is the answer. It's where game designers get started. And where you can find some great opportunities to join game jams and make new contacts. I highly recommend it.

All the best,

Hi Amy T,

I believe you can create a demo on Steam or Itch.io. I am an avid gamer and asking other gamers give you feedback is a great way to figure out if it is fun, find bugs, and test features.

Steam has $100 listing fee. Itch.io - you just need a valid email address to register an account and can immediately post your game.

Steam has many demo fests throughout year so you can get gamers to give you a review for free.

"Itch.io is a great platform to host demos, but it generally makes sense to put your demo on every store that is easy to deploy on."
