Hi Larry! I know it seems like it's hard to get a career, and even more difficult to CHOOSE a career when the options are literally endless.

I think the first step to finding a career is to figure out what you love to do and also acknowledge the skills that you have. Take some time to really think and make a long list of these things. Then look at that list for commonalities. Once you review your list and note the commonalities, it may be pretty obvious what field you should look in to more. Another suggestion I think would be helpful is to Google "self-assessment for career tests" online. These tests will help you find a career path that is a good fit for you, and there are so many available online to take.

In my opinion, the most important thing when deciding on a career for yourself is doing something YOU love. Not something someone else thinks you should do - what YOU want to do. I know it sounds corny, but it's so true and you will be a happier human when you love your career.

Doing something you love will motivate you to get the training or education you need for your field, then motivate you to go after that job opportunity that's a perfect fit. It's a great idea to try out different areas you are interested in too. This will really help you see what you enjoy doing. You can do anything you want to do.

Have faith, explore and focus on what you love.
