What is something that can help me figure out the career path I would want?
I really enjoy things that i can focus and get into the zone in and i just need to figure out what those things are

1. Think about what you have interest, eg your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc and identify the related careers
Eg if you like music, would you like to be a musician, singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer,etc
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3.. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor , school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges

My biggest piece of advice would be to never underestimate the value in journaling! You are going to experience so much change as you continue to grow, explore, and meet new people. The things you enjoy today may or may not change as well. Whether it is digitally, with a voice recorder, or the classic pencil and paper, leave space for reflection as you grow. You will try so many things that you'll love as well as things you clearly do not, and having the opportunity to pause and consider why that might be the case is so valuable. I also encourage you not to rush. You may face a lot of pressure from social media, friends, and even family to settle down and pick 1 career path forever. The reality is technology continues to change the world and we don't know what 30 years from now will bring. You may start out on a path that you think you want, and realize halfway through you don't actually like it as much as you thought, and that's OKAY. You don't have to have all the answers. Goodness if you thought you knew everything I would be very concerned. The most important thing is to remain hungry, humble, and open to new opportunities to try (and fail). If you do that, you will already be much farther than most adults! Good luck in life Oscar, I know you can do great things.
