What is the best way to pay for college like Savannah College of Art and Design?

I am asking this question because I recently was admitted to #Savannah #College of #Art and #Design and its a very expensive college and also my# dream college but the #money part is an issue. I don't receive #FAFSA which is an issue, and my family cant affords the #school. I would like to know the best way to #pay for it that involves #scholarships and #loans?

First, complete your FAFSA and have the results sent to your school. Then speak with the financial aid office a the school and ask them what they could offer you to help pay for the costs that will not be covered by grants. Often colleges will have work-study programs and grants, loans and scholarships of their own. If that is not enough, check scholarship sites such as Yourscholarships.com for available scholarships for which you can apply. There are also low-interest loans available for students as well. Get as much money as you can and then supplement with work and loans. The school should work with you if you are accepted.

Hi Normaris,

Savannah College of Art and Design is not the only college offering design programs. Don't get me wrong, SCAD is a great school. I didn't get my design degree from SCAD but work with some of designers graduated from SCAD. If you really love design but can't afford SCAD, find a different school that is more affordable. Also, consider to get a part-time job while you are attending SCAD. I did that to pay for my design education. I know it is hard. But for what you love, it is worth it.
