Thank you for your question. It's not really a lot of choices as a teenager. Many jobs require specific skills and may not suitable for teenager.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Explore any job opportunities in school, eg part time librarian, administrator, etc
2. Consider doing part time jobs eg babysitter, gardener, instructor in education centre, etc
3. You can also explore any part time opportunities in chain stores, eg fast food shops, supermarkets, department stores, etc.
4. Do you have any specific skills, eg, making cakes, cookies, etc? You can consider to run online shops
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hi Justice,

There are plenty of ways for you to start earning money as a high school student, especially since you enjoy math and business! Here are some ideas that let you build on your interests:

Tutoring in Math: Since you love math, consider offering tutoring to other students. You could start by advertising at your school, in your community, or even on tutoring platforms like Wyzant. Online tutoring also opens up a flexible way to earn.

Reselling Online: You could find popular items (like sneakers, vintage clothes, or electronics) and resell them on platforms like eBay, Depop, or Facebook Marketplace. This type of “buy low, sell high” business gives you hands-on experience in managing costs and profits.

Social Media Management: With so many businesses needing an online presence, you could offer social media management services for local businesses. If you know how to create engaging content, you can help clients with posts, captions, and even running basic ads.

Freelance Services: Websites like Fiverr or Upwork allow you to offer skills you might have, such as writing, graphic design, or even data entry. Think about what you enjoy doing on the side that could be turned into a freelance gig.

Selling Custom Products: If you're interested in creating a product, you could start a small e-commerce shop with simple items like custom t-shirts, mugs, or stickers. Websites like Etsy, Redbubble, or Shopify make it easy to set up an online store.

Starting small will help you figure out what you enjoy the most and might even spark ideas for your future business!
