Hola, I'm a Mexican-American first generation college graduate. I live in the Midwest Noel, MO. I went to the university in Springfield, MO at Missouri State University. I've travelled to 7 different countries and about 11 states. I have a variety of interests and skills that I want to learn and continue to develop including playing piano and guitar, sign language, other foreign languages, among other things. I would like to also get my certification in being a Doula and have looked into getting a private pilots license. I'm very open to learning and growing in new ways and I hope to be able to help you all with the same!

What is the most useful piece of career advice you got as a student, and who gave it to you?
I believe job shadowing and volunteer work are the best ways to determine what it is I liked and didn't like in different areas. You are able to explore and ask questions without being tied down to a real job. I suggest job shadowing in areas that interest you as a career first, and if you like it consider asking if you can volunteer in that area. If you don't like it, no problem just look for something else that interests you.
