How do you choose between multiple job offers after college graduation #Fall25?

I am currently a junior in university, and have secured 2 full-time job offers through past internships. I am also currently freelancing as an independent contractor with 2 other organizations, both of which expressed interest in having me continue beyond my time as a student. Once I graduate, how do I decide between which full-time/freelancing offers to take? What are the pros and cons of juggling multiple jobs/contracts? For some context, I mostly do nonprofit management work, so entry-level salaries are ~$65,000/yr and contract work is ~$25/hr for 10-15 hrs/wk.

Would this youth human rights nonprofit idea be impactful and worth pursuing?

Hi! I’m a 17-year-old senior from Indiana developing a national youth-led human rights nonprofit focused on empowering underserved and displaced youth through education, storytelling, and advocacy training—giving them the tools to speak for themselves. Im trying to fill a growing gap in schools and communities: while STEM is prioritized, human rights and civics education are often ignored. Millions of young people grow up without knowing their basic rights—or how to protect them. Even in developed nations, marginalized youth (immigrants, foster children, and minorities) rarely receive legal literacy—and when abuse or injustice happens, reporting systems are confusing, unsafe, or in another language. My nonprofit would focus on things like bringing rights education to schools, shelters, refugee centers, and communities. Giving youth a platform to share their own stories, instead of being covered by journalists. Connecting youth with scholarships, legal aid info, and mental health resources. Also training students to teach rights education and lead advocacy programs. Before launching, I’d love to know from mentors and professionals: Does this sound like a mission you’d want to support or volunteer with? What makes a nonprofit like this stand out or succeed long-term? Any advice on making this idea realistic and scalable? Thank you so much for your feedback—it means a lot as I work to build something that helps youth everywhere find their voice and know their rights.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger job-seeking self?

If you could talk to yourself just graduating, what would you tell yourself about jobs, career, or life after school? I don't have a job offer yet and this is what I have been telling myself since I graduated, to stop tying my worth to job offers. That it’s okay to take detours. That everyone looks put-together online, but most are just figuring things out too. And most importantly, jobs don’t give you value, you bring value to jobs. What about you? Let’s help someone reading this today.

How do I create a completly unique non-profit that helps people who don't have proper access to healthcare?

I'm a high school student passionate about improving access to healthcare, especially for those who lack basic necessities. I'm considering starting a non-profit that creates and distributes care kits containing essential items like period pads, heating pads, Tylenol, and similar products. I plan to collaborate with friends and raise awareness through social media. However, I realize that many people with similar goals might be doing something along the same lines. I want to find a way to make a real impact while taking a slightly different, more creative or underserved approach. What are some meaningful alternatives I could explore that still support healthcare access but stand out a bit more?

How do I start a non-profit or community project?

I am a high school student. I want to create a non-profit or a community project where I help people who don’t have access to proper healthcare. How would I start it? Should I crate a social media page where I document my project? I’ve tried to search it up but it only suggests that I should raise money but I want to do something more than just raise money. Additionally, I would also like it create a branch that would all me to help people suffering from a heart condition because I would like to be a cardiologist in the future and it is the number one cause of death.

How can I turn my passion for policy into real impact in law or nonprofits? #Spring 25

As a Public Policy major and Spanish minor at USC, I’m especially drawn to work that uplifts communities through education, legal advocacy, and nonprofit programs. I’m eager to learn how others have navigated similar paths, whether through law school, policy work, or grassroots leadership, and what helped them stay grounded while creating meaningful change.

Domestic Violence and Homelessness "gaps" OR organization ideas in Florida (and later global)?

Hello, my name is Sanvhi and I am currently a student, more specifically a freshman in high school! As I have began looking towards my future and career, I realized that both architecture and business (hospitality) were ones I have always been interested in. I have been an active role in my schools SGA so far, and also have taken an architectural engineering class at my school which taught me the basics of a lot. Aside from this, I have always been an advocate for the arts like Theatre as well as marketing, as I combined the two and now co founded a YouTube series to market the arts at my school!! I have a lot of interests, but one that I have always wanted to do is start a project/nonprofit/initiative for domestic violence and homelessness. I am located in Florida, and not sure what to do to help. Eventually, if I can, I was to bring this to more locations than Florida. In the past I have had ideas about having a home security device that would be built into walls, some sort of new architectural material for building houses for those in need, and just fundraising. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!

Nonprofit/Organization, Awards, Challenges?

Hello! I am currently a freshman in high school, and my interest lay mainly in architecture and business (specifically hospitality), as I want to create my own hotel brand. In addition to this, I have always wanted to create a nonprofit, or other assisting organization that could assist domestic violence survivors, those currently in those situations, as well as homelessness. Additionally I wish to work on a couple other projects regarding my 2 interests and participate in awards/ challenges for them as well. Does anyone have any recommendations for these? Also, is it okay to work on the nonprofit/project for domestic violence and homelessness? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for that nonprofit/project?

What career will help me fulfill my purpose and set my family up for financial freedom ?

What career will help me fulfill my purpose and set my family up for financial freedom? I am a non immigrant living in the USA for 2 years now for my husband’s work. We recently changed visas to enable him get a better paying job and I am no longer eligible to work with my new visa (O3). I will like to return to school but I have a hard time choosing a financially sustainable career option. I have a veterinary degree from my country and after working as a veterinary technician for two years in the USA, I have come to the conclusion that the vet world is not for me. I studied vet medicine home only because medicine was considered a noble profession that will help me have earnings and I was “smart” enough to pass the competitive exam into vet school. I am more passionate about community engagement and helping children from underprivileged background have access to education. I run a small non profit based in my country to achieve this objective. I want to make a career out of that but do not want to have to take loans to go back to school as I am still new to the American system of school loans. I also want a career that will be able to provide for my family. Which career options should I be looking at? I love project management, communication, and have been told by many that I do them well. Are those sustainable career options in non profit? Thanks in advance for your advice.

A teacher switching careers here! What are keywords, or specific careers, that a teacher can use to help navigate looking for work in the non-teaching education field?

I have 4+ years experience teaching within a K-2 classroom. I was a grade team leader for 1 of those years and currently an instructional grade team leader which means I'm in charge of the development of 2 teachers, as well as a classroom of students. I'm passionate about all things education such as: educational research, community growth, educational pedagogy, educational policy, educational advocacy, educational material/content development, educational sales, etc. I'm usually the high energy, hard working teammate or leader that likes to bring excitement and passion to the workplace. I'm very sociable and find it enjoyable to make partnerships with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders that are invested in improving education. I believe it's time to leave the classroom and venture out into other aspects of education and beyond. With that said, I'm looking for advice on keywords, or specific careers, to help navigate the convoluted field of education that I would love to continue to explore and make an impact.

I'm founding a startup, but I'm not sure if I want it to be a nonprofit, not-for-profit, or for-profit. Should I figure this out before registering as a business?

I'm based in New York State, and I'm planning to hire a lawyer to do the paperwork. But I don't want to do any fundraising until I have a bank account (which requires an EIN). Do I need to decide on a profit model before registering? Any advice is helpful - I'm new to the startup world!
