About
After graduating from university, I started as a runner for a big TV/film company in London.
After lots of blood, sweat, tears, tea/coffee-making and lunch-runs, I became an assistant for some years before eventually crossing over to become a junior script editor on a big ITV/PBS period drama series called MR SELFRIDGE. This meant I looked after all the writers and helped the shape the stories for the series- as well as getting the scripts ready for production.
I ended up writing an episode of MR SELFRIDGE, before going onto to develop and also write on two seasons of UK police thriller BANCROFT. After that, I wrote on a psychological thriller for Channel 5 in the UK called PENANCE and also oversaw the development of another ITV show, family mystery FLESH & BLOOD.
Overall, I have lots of experience on both sides of the table in TV- albeit mainly in the UK market.
