Brandon Clark

How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?

Before I started college, I was not too sure what major I wanted to study. During high school, I did animation classes to pursue my passion of game design. I love playing games and I have always wanted to create my own one day. So, I applied to Cal State Fullerton because I knew they had a great animation program; however, I quickly realized that animation was such a specific and small fraction to making games... so when I received my offer, I denied and settled going to a local community college to further explore. While at community college, I took three computer science courses... and from there, I was hooked. I finished my Associates degree in Computer Science and moved to California Polytechnic State University to finish my Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering. I chose this degree because it is really general in studies and it is always changing. Now I work at a prestigious company and create games as a hobby; best of both worlds.
