My career goal is to become an interior designer, or someone who come to decorate homes. I know that I would also like to design rooms, but I don't want to be the one to build it because I'm not very good at that.

Context: I'm interested in this career because ever since I was little, I always enjoyed decorating things and making things. When I got my own room I was always changing it up and re-painting it.
College: I would like to do an online class for Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. They have an online class I could take for a while and then eventually I could actually go to the school in Colorado. If that doesn't work out, I'm really not sure what I want to do. I have thought about getting my general studies out of the way, though. But, I have always pictured myself owning a business for car audio as well, but that probably wouldn't be my first option,
Other Education: Next year I will be graduating from Westwood, and the school in Colorado that I want to go to, you have to be accepted in, and I don't know what my chances really would be.
Activities: I have done things in the past like volunteering for things or going to summer basketball camps and stuff like that, but now I am more into painting and drawing. I have gone to a painting class and plan to go to more.
Job Experience: I have not had a real job yet, but I have watched peoples kids for them and earned a little money. I have a machine now that makes any sticker you could want, and people ask for them all the time, so that's how I make extra money now. I have applied at places but so far no luck.
Soft Skills: I feel like the skills I'll need to be an interior designer is learning about things like color schemes, patterns, and stuff like that. To be someone who is going to decorate a house, you need to learn those things so that you impress the people you work for.
Hard Skills: Interior design also falls into math and measurements, and I know that would be the hardest part for me. I would get the hang of it though with some help and practice.
Other: N/A #art #math #design #decorator
