I am a Career Specialist for a college in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
I graduated from the University of Texas- El Paso in 2014 on the same day that I gave birth to my third child. In addition to being a working mom, I am the first generation in my family to achieve a college degree. I understand the challenges that students face when thinking about college. As a student, I was always happy to learn, but I never knew the questions to ask. It took guidance and mentoring to get me my degree, and now I want to give others what some many gave to me- a helping hand and a empathetic ear.
