What jobs can I get with a computer science degree, especially with AI becoming so widespread?

I'm a sophomore in high school, and I'm interested in majoring in computer science. With the rise of AI, I've been exploring jobs like machine learning engineering, so I'd appreciate any information on this job. I'm also still trying to look into other stable possibilities for computer science majors in general, since many jobs seem to be at risk of being negatively affected by AI.

As a sophomore, it's a good idea to start with Python, strengthen your math skills, and work on small projects like a chatbot or a data analysis program. If you're interested in machine learning, look into basic statistics and beginner AI courses. You might also want to try cybersecurity or software development to find what you enjoy most.

The key is to focus on creating projects and solving real-world problems, not just earning certificates. AI is transforming computer science, so learning to use AI tools and understanding the code behind them is important. While no job is completely safe from AI, having strong fundamentals, practical experience, and the ability to adapt will help you remain competitive. You have plenty of time to explore, so start small and gradually build your skills!
