Dalia becoming a real estate agent requires time and financial investment. That means you’ll want to understand what resources you'll need to budget before you begin.
For example, some pre-licensing schools meet for a set number of classes over several weeks, while others allow you to move through courses at your own pace. Know what your options are, and choose the one that's right for your lifestyle and schedule. Likewise, the cost of pre-licensing courses vary per school and state, but you can expect to pay between $200 and $1000 for your courses.
Once you feel comfortable with the information you’ve learned in your real estate courses, it’s time to apply to take the exam. This step usually requires the payment of an application fee and registering for the test through a third party, like PSI Exams.
Many states do not require you to have completed all your required education hours before applying for the exam. This can speed up the time it takes you to earn your license because you can complete your credit hours while waiting for your exam application to be approved. Note: Don’t confuse this step with applying for your license — you’ll do that after you pass the real estate licensing exam.
One you aquire your license Dalia doesn't mean you can start selling houses right away. Most states require you to work with a real estate broker who sponsors your first two to three years as an agent. A real estate brokerage is simply an agency or office where real estate agents work. Because you'll likely need a brokerage to generate income, it's a good idea to find a broker before graduating from your training course.
Hope this is helpful Dalia

Hi Dalia! It is great that you are interested in Real Estate, and preparing for your future. Some skills that will be helpful to you in a career in Real Estate are public speaking, and language skills, business math, business classes, home economics, so taking classes in any of these areas would be helpful. If there is a local Real Estate office in your town, you can go introduce yourself, and let them know that you are interested in Real Estate as a career. Ask if there is a way that you can volunteer in any way, like answering phones, running errands or doing research, etc. You can learn quite a lot by observing people in action. Also, once you graduate they might offer you summer or full-time internships. You can talk to your guidance counselor at school. Let him or her know your plans. They can help you look into different Real Estate schools or courses to find the best options for you to learn the trade and get certified and licensed. Another thing, would be to go to your local library and research as much about Real Estate requirements and regulations and the different jobs that are available in the real estate industry. It can help you decide what area or job to focus on.
I hope this helps you Dalia. Wishing you the best of luck on your journey.

AP economics was the most useful class i could think of from my high school when it comes to real estate. If there are business classes, that could help as well, but not all high schools offer that. In addition, any sort of public speaking class would be helpful. The more comfortable you are talking in front of people, especially when it comes to pitching an idea, the better.
