<p>I've worked as an IT dude in a medium sized healthcare conglomerate as a Helpdesk Manager, then an "IT manager" at a subsidiary hospital, a deskside support person on the commodities floor at a large "bank," as a field network and systems engineer at a consulting firm in the hard streets of NYC, then I was the sole network and systems engineer at a smaller sized quantitative hedge fund in Midtown, finally, arriving at a 40 person long/short hedge fund where I support the entire systems and network infrastructure along side an IT manager. I'm generally big into security, some into virtualization and systems management, and into whatever tools get me there.</p>
