Dan Hoogestraat

In 2019, I graduated from Ashford University with a BA in Project Management, and in 2020 I graduated with an MBA in the same focus. I successfully completed both of these programs maintaining recognition on the Dean's List with a 3.9 GPA. Lastly, in 2024, I obtained a Ph.D. to supplement my career path and education in Organizational Development and Leadership. I am passionate about education and managing projects because it is very likely that the final product will live on long after I am gone. For instance, the designers and managers of the Seven Wonders of the World have left an eternal piece of themselves that provides many with joy, encouragement, and awe, now and for years to come.

Throughout my college career, I was exposed to the fundamentals of qualitative and quantitative research, assessment tools, leadership management, performance management, and research ethics. Many of the courses I took highlighted valuable insight into advanced tests and measurements, observational methods, dissertation planning, economics, statistics, procurement, and more.

I feel that my educational background, coupled with my skillsets and professional experience, has exalted me to a position where I can make effective business decisions. Nine years of higher education has taught me to manage time efficiently, mastering the art of setting goals and obtaining them with fierce tenacity and resiliency. I firmly believe that I can grow and overcome any obstacle that my life or career sets in front of me.
