Maureen’s twenty year + management career partners extremely well with her nineteen years of academic experience as a Full Professor of Business, Management, and Leadership. Her role as Dean allowed her to use her knowledge, skills, and disposition to create meaningful and transformative student experiences. Her love is the classroom and the engagement of her students. Her development of the Capstone Consulting Experience for the M.B.A. and B.S. programs created a meaningful shift in how students view themselves within their chosen profession, with the development of entrepreneurial skills and a disposition toward social responsibility. Maureen led the full transition to online education, both technically and culturally. Maureen’s publications cover areas such as Entrepreneurship, Pedagogy, Not-for-profit Management, Ethics, Business Education, General Education, Managers′ Information-seeking Behaviors, and Change Management. She has demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives; particular expertise is revealed in training and developing people to reach full potential. She demonstrates advanced communication and human relations skills and problem solving abilities. Maureen held the position as President of the Northeast Business & Economics Association, which is committed to multidisciplinary scholarship. She has served as a member of its Board of Directors for fifteen years +. She was recently elevated to a level of honor as an Executive Director on the board.
