During #summer18 , I plan to work on my college applications. What do you wish you knew going into it? In hindsight, what do you wish you did or didn't do? How did you create the best application possible?

I've heard that dorm environments can be very distracting. I've also heard that living on campus helps get you more involved in campus culture and events. I have the opportunity to live at home, so I was wondering if the on campus experience is worth the extra money. #college

Some of the schools I will be applying to are really hard to get into, no matter the GPA or test scores, so I want to be prepared for the pain of seeing the word "DENIED". If you were rejected by a school, especially your top choice/s, how did you deal with the #disappointment?

What responsibilities were you unprepared or unaware you would have to fulfill? What do you wish your parents prepared you most to do? What advice could you give to #highschoolgrads making that leap?
