How do you study on campus without living paycheck to paycheck? Also if scholorships arent enough financial support is it recommended to work while in college?

I am a senior, Graduating in May. I have no work experience and have an interest in studying psychology to be either a clinical psychologist or a developmental psychologist.

What degree should I get in order to become a research psychologist?

One college I'm looking at has a research psych track that is simply a bachelor's degree, which doesn't sound right to me. Another college I'm looking at recomends a master's and then possibly continuing education at a grad school. Another college, which is a research college, has a research psych track that requires a PhD. Which degree is most likely to land me a job? I am most interested in the developmental and abnormal fields, if it matters. #psychology #research #research-psychology #developmental-psychology #abnormal-psychology

What psychology research has not yet been completed? (Especially in the developmental and abnormal fields?)

I am a high school senior and I am interested in psychology, especially the developmental and abnormal fields. I would like to get into research, but I am not exactly sure what I would be studying. Does anyone have an idea about what I would be researching by the time I am finished with college (4-6 years from now)? #psychology #psychology-research #abnormal-psychology #developmental-psychology

What branch of psychology would be the best route for me to take if I want to be successful fast out of college?

I have decided that psychology is something I want to further my knowledge in and major in college. Yet, I have recently found out that there are many branches of psychology I can go into. I really enjoy developmental/child psychology and criminal psychology. So, which do you think would be the better option for me in the long-run? I am going to have student loans to pay off and I will be looking for a job right after I graduate. What field would better benefit me financially? #psychology #criminal-psychology #developmental-psychology

Is it better to pair a double major in kinesiology and athletic training with a minor in psychology or a minor in recreational therapy if I ultimately want to become a pediatric physical therapist?

I will be majoring in kinesiology as a pre-physical therapy student, but I am also majoring in athletic training so that I can meet the requirements for an athletic training certificate. My goal is to become a pediatric physical therapist and work with kids fighting potentially terminal illnesses. I am wondering if it would be more beneficial for me to minor in psychology or recreational therapy. #physical-therapist #physical-therapy #college-minor #majors-and-minors #developmental-psychology #recreational-therapy
