International Psychology?

Are there any jobs that involve psychology and international studies? I love psychology and learning about new cultures and especially traveling. I was thinking about finishing at my JuCo then becoming a flight attendant for a while and coming back to study psychology and do research. Does that sound plausible or is it a bad idea?

What are your favorite resources to read about psychology research?

Not quite a college or career question, but this seems like an appropriate place to converse :). I like Psychology Today, Google Scholar, The Epoch Times, and Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. I'm having trouble finding social media accounts that post psychology facts that are actually true. Any book recommendations? #psychology #magazine #research-psychology

What degree should I get in order to become a research psychologist?

One college I'm looking at has a research psych track that is simply a bachelor's degree, which doesn't sound right to me. Another college I'm looking at recomends a master's and then possibly continuing education at a grad school. Another college, which is a research college, has a research psych track that requires a PhD. Which degree is most likely to land me a job? I am most interested in the developmental and abnormal fields, if it matters. #psychology #research #research-psychology #developmental-psychology #abnormal-psychology

How do research psychologists get paid? And how well?

Where does the money come from- the institute you work for, funding from organizations that support your research, people and magazines that want to publicize your work? Do you get paid salary or commission? How much do you make a year? Is the income stable? Is the amount you are paid dependent on the field you work in, how valuable your finding are deemed to be, or something else? #psychology #money #financial-planning #research #research-psychology
