Sarah Lauture

Sarah Lauture, is a 24-year-old Connecticut native. Sarah has earned her B.S. in Communication from Southern Connecticut State University with a minor in Spanish, as well as her Masters in Counseling degree, from Johns Hopkins University. Sarah is currently in pursuit of earning licensure as a Professional Counselor, and is a student in the University of Bridgeport’s advanced graduate study program in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health concentration). In June 2016, Sarah co-founded Woman to Woman – whose mission is to encourage women to build each other up, while simultaneously inspiring them to give back to their communities through the avenues of networking, mentorship, empowerment, and volunteerism. Another way Sarah is giving back to the AMAZING girls of this world is through her work with Live Girl, Inc. where she facilitates LiveGirlTalk – an afterschool discussion group for middle school girls that teaches them how to be leaders and build their social emotional intelligence and self-esteem. While Sarah is a self-proclaimed “lover of school” she is ultimately a student of life; with so much more to learn.
