Bhumip Khasnabish is involved in 5G Ecosystems development and Innovation (Verizon Connect)
with primary focus on Technology Operations at Alley Cambridge Labs., working with existing and future partners.
His additional duties include supporting the complementary activities in Innovation and 5G Labs. in Waltham.

Previously, Bhumip worked in service-/network-element prototyping and standards development; initiated and/or
chaired work items/groups and task forces in Organizations like ATIS, DMTF, ETSI, IETF/IRTF, MSF, NGMN, ONF,
and SNIA. Received a few awards for outstanding initiatives and innovation.

Bhumip authored books/chapters/articles on VoIP, Video/Multimedia, Enterprise Networking, Wireless Networking,
Cloud-/Virtualization-based Computing and Networking, Software-Defined Networking, Intelligent Systems,
SmartGrid-2030, Smart Body Sensor (wearables/swalloables) Networking, Network Slicing,
Next-Gen Mobile/Wireless Networking, and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) Fiduciary.
Bhumip has been awarded dozens of USPTO/WTO patents, with many pending. (20 April 2020).
