This question was a bit vague for me, but I will take a stab at it.
A CNA is just a certified nursing assistant. They can work in a variety of medical settings. I would say working as a CNA gives you insight into what nursing can and will be like. There is no CNA course that puts you in a position to earn credits toward an RN, to my knowledge, but check your area. I have seen LPNs who work as medical technicians, medication technicians, or CNAs because the state may have phased them out.
I tell students, if you want insight, try being a CNA before nursing school. You can become a nurse at any time without having to be a CNA.

If you want to become a nurse, taking a CNA course is a great first step. It gives you hands-on experience in patient care, which is very helpful once you start nursing school. Students who begin as CNAs often enter their first semester with skills in talking to patients, staying calm in stressful situations, and understanding the atmosphere around them.

Even though , being a cna is a good way to enter nursing school because he gives you the opportunity to learn more about nursing practices before going to nursing school , it s not prerequisite to become a nurse. To become a nurse, you should go to nursing school , do the prerequisites and pass the nclex-rn. If you are cna and want to expand your nursing skills try to become a patient care technician or LPN before.

Becoming a CNA is not a prerequisite to becoming an RN but it will afford you an opportunity to experience patient care and the care environment. It will give you insight into your own abilities to care for people who are experiencing life altering challenges and allow you to assess your desire to invest further your education towards becoming an RN.
That said, make sure that the course you choose is approved by the state/licensed and well regarded. Verify that the program includes both classroom and hands-on clinical practice that meet requirements . You can search for approved programs through the state’s Health or Nursing websites and confirm that the program’s status is current. Take the time to look into program reputation and former student opinions. Invest the time and effort to be wise about your future. Best of luck.
