I keep hearing experienced nurses say that starting with CNA training is one of the best ways to build a strong foundation for a successful nursing career.?

My CNA instructor at Sisucare said the same thing based on her own experience, but I’m still curious what others think. Why do you think so many nurses recommend becoming a CNA first? Has starting as a CNA actually helped your nursing journey (confidence, patient skills, getting hired, etc.)? If you could start over, would you still choose the CNA first route? I’d love to hear your experiences and any pros or cons you’ve noticed.

How should I go about being an esthetician?

I am very lost in terms of what to do after high school. I want to get my bachelors in something. I thought maybe to get a degree in business, just so I have a backup plan. What can you even do with a business degree? I applied to all my colleges with business. Should I skip all that and just do the steps to being an esthetician? If so, what should I do?

How exactly do I be a dentist?

I have been thinking about becoming a dentist, but I have like no idea how college really works. I was thinking of going to sac state or sac city college by majoring in biology or biological sciences, and then transferring to UC Davis after 2 years. What should my schedule be like to be on the right track? Is there extra steps I need to do?
