I want to build a property (a luxury treehouse). Does anyone have experience in building floor plans or general advice?

I want to build a treehouse business.
So far I have:
Found mentors
Wrote the why, vision and goals of my business plan
Researched the market

I now want to build a floor plan to use on my website as a Minimum Viable Product that I can show to investors/programmes.

Can anyone please help me to do this or point me in the direction of how I might be able to?
Thank you! #students #property #engineering #engineers #entrepreneur #networking #architecture #design #funding #investors #investing

Take a look at what other treehouse companies have done. Nelson Treehouse, of Treehouse Masters fame, is a great place to start.

Hi, if you are a student, Autodesk offers free software to design floor plans using AutoCAD LT. It's a little bit of a learning curve but ultimately a pretty powerful solution. Revit also lets you do 3D floor plan designing.

I'm fairly sure they would have some sort of export feature that you could integrate as a visual example into your web site.

If you want to start a business that has a component of a skill set (like the actual building of a treehouse) which you do not possess, you can partner or hire people who do and learn from them to build your skills over time. Maybe your skill set is finding the clients and doing the sales pitch to sell people on a tree house. If you can find an experienced builder who can quote you on time and materials (always get this at a fixed cost in writing and signed!) then you can tack on a % for your brokering the deal. Make sure this is a person who is willing to take you on as an apprentice so they dont mind you tagging along to learn their skill. OR you can do it the other way around and go work for someone who builds treehouses and be their apprentice that way to learn the business end to end. Most people dont start out as the CEO, you have to learn and learn and learn all the skills to run the business before you can do so successfully.
