Audrietta is currently responsible for managing the ten Employee Resource Groups, with membership of over 26,000 employees across the globe, as a key component of Verizon’s Global Diversity and Inclusion strategy. She directs the ERG leaders with the support and guidance needed to maximize their influence within Verizon’s business operations. Her responsibilities include strategy and implementation under four ERG pillars: career development, customer insights, community outreach and inclusive culture.

In Audrietta’s former role, she was responsible for Global Health and Wellness Strategy for in Corporate Benefits, including data analysis and program design, along with consumer health education and utilization management for over 150,000 active employees and their families.

Audrietta has been a champion of addressing racial and ethnic disparities within employee benefits for several years and accepted a medal from former U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Regina Benjamin, in recognition of Verizon’s focus on the reduction of racial and ethnic health disparities among employees.

Audrietta served on several external Committees and Advisory Boards to help employers address disparities among insured employees. She has also presented the employer business case for addressing disparities to the Congressional Black Caucus Health Brain Trust, the Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institutes of Health among other national disparities forums. She has also published articles in Health Affairs on the business case for addressing disparities.

Audrietta began her career in Human Resources at Marriott International in Benefits Administration. She received her BBA in Marketing from Howard University, Washington, DC, her M.S. in Management with a focus on Healthcare Administration and an MBA, both from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC - recently renamed as UM Global Campus).
