Hi, Welcome to my world! I’m a self employed petsitter, a career choice that stemmed from my charity work at a nonprofit animal sanctuary. I’ve sat on the board of directors at Happy Heart Happy Home Farm Rescue for 5+ years now. Though government paperwork lists me as the event coordinator of the board, I do so much more. I’ve done everything from yanking goats & sheep from slaughter auctions to lifting struggling horses & cows that have fallen. Though there’s nothing more beautiful & rewarding than giving animals a soft place to land for the rest of their days, it can be very painful work at times too. We specialize in sick, elderly & disabled horses. Petsitting for animals in their homes allows a bit of reprieve from the loss that comes with a life in the sanctuary world.
