What is it like when your job gets tough?
It can be EXTREMELY stressful during campaign seasons and legislative sessions when the general public is actually paying attention to what politicians are doing and have a million questions. As my stress levels increase, my patience with people who are inefficient, decreases. You feel like you're running on a hamster wheel.
What is the most useful piece of career advice you got as a student, and who gave it to you?
If you don't see the opportunity you want, create it (or at least ask!); I received two internships simply inquiring and making it known that I wanted to gain experience with/through their organizations. It wasn't so much a specific person, but the atmosphere of my alma mater.
