About

I am a current working professional as a laboratory research technician at the Faustman Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital for over 2 years. At my lab, my tasks include running various ELISAs weekly that relate to the various clinical trials we have set up related to type 1 diabetes. I have been very interested and invested in Biology and am looking into immunology, vaccine development, and infectious diseases as a viable career focus. I have previous experience both in the lab working on wet lab experiments and techniques, as well as with computer data analysis and literature reviews for scientific papers. Studying at Brown University, I was able to hone in on my passion for immunology and successfully pursued a Bachelor's of Science in Biology on the Immunobiology track and am aiming for a potential career in academia and/or industry. I am more than willing and happy to answer any questions and help those who are interested in a career in science or what working in a professional laboratory is like.
