I used to work testing out building electrical systems in VA and DC as well as parts of the mid-west. During this time I walked into every kind of business from agricultural to rocket engine testing. I took some time to learn a little about the businesses and what did because I found an interest in seeing what other people's jobs were. You begin to realize that you are a fly on the wall for people's best days, worst days, and a lot of average days. I soon got a feeling for what kind of jobs were good/ bad/ or just another thing to do to make money. I have a diverse group of friends. I get to pick their brains from time to time and see what their jobs are and what their fields are doing this day and age. I am hoping my answers are not an end all answer for students and young professionals, I am hoping my answers are a nudge in the right direction so they can feel confident in the solutions they invent themselves!
