Why do many companies prefer students straight out of college now with no experience over career-experienced individuals ?

I live in the south and it seems like more often, industry-related jobs are wanting to hire non-experienced individuals over those with plenty of experience in their technical area of profession. I’m curious why there seems to be a shift to this over applicants with years of industrial experience in their fields.

Hello, how can I learn digital literacy/basic computer literacy?

My question is where and how I can learn these skills, and what are some basic digital skills that everyone needs or should know. I mean regardless of any profession what are the technical skills that are necessary right now. I will be grateful for your help. Thank you.

Why aren't more students looking at Technical Colleges

Technical Colleges offer real world training for instant job market readiness. Yet most students and High school push for big Universities and state colleges. I didn't know about my state technical college and found it almost by accident. Since then I have convinced 2 others to join, who also were looking for an alternative to high cost higher education. #technical-training #associatesdegree #university #vocational-school
