<p>Bob has been a nurse practitioner since 1981. With his partner Maddy Wiley he opened a nurse practitioner practice in Kent, WA in 1985. They wanted to demonstrate that in a suburban community with a large choice of medical providers consumers would chose to see nurse practitioners. Fast forward to 2013, 28 years later, their practice FamilyCare of Kent is thriving practice which employs 14 staff including 5 FNPs. He is one of the founding board members of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, a Past-President and a Fellow. He is the clinical director of FamilyCare of Kent. He is also clinical faculty for the School of Nursing at the University of Washington. He graduated from the University at Buffalo, SoN in 1979 and the University of Pennsylvania, SoN, with his Master's degree as a FNP in 1981. </p>
