How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
I never thought I would be working at Verizon, but here I am. I did not anticipate doing this at all. If you asked me 10 years ago I would have told you I would be living in CA or NY working in the music industry. I did not pick this career. It has been a winding path with ups and downs and this most recent position found me and I am so happy that it did. I have found over the years that I may never really know exactly what I want to do or what I want to be, but that is the best part about where I am. I have the opportunity to move and learn and try all different things. I started in sales, then went to lead a team, then I moved on to trialing products and services before they launched, and now here I am helping develop and grow a new product.
