I am currently a student at Pennwest California pursuing my degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I am leaning towards Pediatrics (Early Intervention), infant feeding disorders, working in a hospital setting, and Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate.
I have a passion for working with children - I have worked in daycares since high school. I currently work at a 4-tier NAEYC accredited daycare in my college town.

How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
I have always had a passion for working with children - especially if that work required therapy. In high school, I began going down the Psychology path, until a recruiter for my current college - Pennwest California - reached out and introduced me to Communication Sciences and Disorders. This major peaked my interest as you can follow several different careers paths - there's Audiology, Speech-Language Therapy, and many more options for ALL populations - infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Upon entering my education career, the classes become more and more interesting, essentially 'roping me in'. I am now on track to begin working on a maternity ward with newborns with feeding disorders!
