How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
When I was asked in elementary school what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said I wanted to run away to India to study tigers, so I guess you could say I have always known what my calling was. Life didn't go exactly as I imagined as a child but it's never too late to pursue your dreams!
Did anyone ever oppose your career plans when you were young or push you in a direction you did not want to go?
Yes. I unfortunately didn't have a good support system growing up. Many of my decisions were made for me. I thought I would never break away from the cycle, but I did, and you can too. Don't let anyone bring you down or tell you how you should live your life.
