Ruth Wong

I graduated with first class in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Software Engineering) at a local government university in Malaysia called University Malaysia Pahang in year 2007. I did a semester of industrial training with a media planning company doing VBA programming. Upon graduation, I started my 1st job as a Graduate Trainee in DHL IT Services in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. I completed my 1 year stint as a GT, after which, upon confirmation, I got converted to an Associate Analyst role, where I did primarily business analysis & software testing; I was in DHL IT Services for 2.5 years. After that, I took a 6-month government-linked scholarship specialization course in Software Testing. Upon completing the scholarship course, I started my career with HP as a Test Manager & I've been promoted to a Project Manager, Program Manager & have also worked in various areas of organizational optimization, new organization strategy & planning, software license management & externally, I've been in leadership & mentoring program. Outside of work, I'm part of an annual youth leadership development program committee, focusing specifically on youths & young adults ages 18 - 25 years old.
