How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
I pursued a degree in Psychology and hold a master’s degree in Psychotherapy. That said, I chose to follow a different career path in the tech and communications field after embracing an opportunity that challenged me to develop my hard skills. Psychology—psychotherapy in particular—remains my true calling, but for now I continue to apply its principles by striving to live a more mindful, balanced, and understanding life. Go for what feels right and focus on accumulating experience, no matter what that stubborn negative voice in your head might say.
