Derrick Davenport II

My name is Derrick Davenport II. I am a humbly proud 26 year old African American/Native American Father, Son, Brother, Fiancé and most important Believer in Jesus Christ. I started my professional career at the age of 19 years old as a commission only life insurance sales and in 2 years worked my way up into a Regional Managing Partner responsible for 25 beautiful people striving to achieve financial freedom, after stepping down in my role due to burn out. I decided that it was best I take time off and be with my fiancé who was pregnant with our now 1 year old daughter. When I was ready to go back to work it made most sense for me to try something new, so I started to build own insurance brokerage and worked as a Staffing Manager for a Global Staffing firm known as Randstad where I specialize in Talent management, Outside sales and human resources for a year. After successfully achieving Rookie of the Year in my first 8 months. I was offered a huge opportunity to join ADP as a Associate District Manager where I am currently specializing in outside sales, business development, data analysist, technology and benefit strategy. I believe God has brought me on the path he has me now specifically, so that I can grow the necessary skills to be a blessing and change the lives of others. I love to workout, fish, read, goal plan, spend time with my family and serve others. I am a leader at heart and look forward to engaging with people in need.
