Samantha Laswell, PTA, CSRS

Samantha Stryke, PTA, CBIS, is originally from Florida where she obtained her PTA degree from Seminole State College in 2005. Samantha is an APTA certified clinical instructor. She has also received a certificate in Gerontology from Lake Sumter Community College and earned her Certified Brain Injury Specialist certification from the Brain Injury Association of America in 2018. She has worked 14 years in the SNF setting as well as in home health in the central Florida area and now lives in Southern California. While in Florida Samantha sat as a member of the Board of Directors for Taylor College for the PTA program and was highly involved in the APTA and FPTA. Samantha sat as the PTA Representative for her district for 4 years and sub-district chair for 2. She also sat as the PTA Alternate Caucus Representative for the state of Florida. Samantha has recently moved to Southern California and currently sits as the PTA Representative for her current district. She has also been involved with the Special Olympics for the past 16 years and has been a Clinical Director for the past 14. During her time as both a clinician and holding different offices in her Chapter Association, Samantha loves to travel to different schools and talk with students about both the profession, the professional organization and about her love for PTAs. Samantha also loves to mentor and share her passion for what she does.
