How would job shadowing go for an aspiring electrical engineer?

I noticed that job shadowing in fields such as teaching, medical and hospital fields seem to be accessible to students in my region, but I find it harder to find shadowing opportunities for electrical engineering. I'm guessing because of the safety limitations, but I'm curious as to how this would be possible. I'm looking to get into shadowing a professional in this.

How do you know what type of engineering you want be?

I've wanted to be an aerospace engineering because I find rockets and airplanes interesting. Is that all there is to it or is there a deeper reason for why I should pick a certain type of engineering.

Career Options for Mechanical Engineering

I am a high school senior, and I know Majoring in Mechanical Engineering is a large field and stems off at many branches. However, I have not known off career titles that don't end in "engineer" stemming off from this major. My question is are there any careers like that? and if so, are there any requirement that may seem unexpected for someone entering the math and science field? #engineering #career #science #mechanical-engineering #career-choice #math #career-paths #career-options
