How do I find good internships to get into politics such as an internship in the UN? What are some good opportunities and options for such?
I am currently in all honors classes as a freshmen and I am a part of my schools medium sized delegation secretariat for MUN, and I have won multiple awards in rigorous committees. I know I am doing everything right in that department and my courses/education, but I want to take it a step further as of internships so as to stand out in my college applications. What would be the best path?
What steps should I take as a high school student to set me on the path to becoming a lawyer or a diplomat, and what classes should I take?
I’m currently in model Un and love and excel in it, I have won awards for such, I’m a freshman but I’ve been taking all advanced classes and excel in debate and discussion in English, and I’m still undecided on whether I become a diplomat or a lawyer.
What are careers other than law where I can leverage my interest in model UN and debate?
I love participating in model UN and am on the debate team. I know law is a related career but I'm thinking about other careers where this skill could be applied but not just in law. I'd love to hear what majors come to mind for someone good at debate and interested in model UN - maybe political science?
