What schooling must you do after college to become a nurse anesthetist and a nurse practitioner?

Hi, I will be entering my junior year in high school and I've always known that I want to work in healthcare. I've been really thinking about nursing. I know nurse anesthetists and practitioners are different but both intrigued me. What degrees do each have, and how long do they each go to school? #nursing #nurse #medicine #healthcare #registered-nurses

How can I get accepted into nursing school straight from high school?

Hello, I am currently a rising junior in high school. I am very interested in nursing, and becoming an RN. I want to obtain a BSN, and later my masters because I want to specialize in sports medicine or orthopedics. I am currently interning at a rehab facility, and want to find some volunteer opportunities, too (Covid is making it hard to do so). #healthcare #registered-nurses #nurse #nursing #medicine

Can I go straight to nursing school after I graduate high school? (If so, how can I get in?)

Hello, I am currently a rising junior in high school. I am very interested in nursing, and becoming an RN. I want to obtain a BSN, and later my masters because I want to specialize in sports medicine or orthopedics. I believe I read somewhere that you can go straight to nursing school right after you graduate high school. The nursing school will save you a spot in their program, so you don't have to apply to nursing schools after finishing prerequisites (I'm not sure if this is correct). #nursing #medicine #nurse #healthcare #college #registered-nurses

Should I transfer to a different college that has a BS in Nursing Science?

I'm currently a freshman at UCSD, and not to long ago I decided to pursue a career in nursing, however, my college doesn't have a BS in nursing. I am a human biology major and was wondering if I should stick with that and then go to nursing school or if I should transfer to another college that does have a BS in nursing so I can get licensed faster. Also, what do you recommend someone who wants to pursue nursing to check out? #nursing #college #healthcare #registered-nurses
