How do I get a scholarship before or after grad?

I have only known and heard of pursuing a nursing degree by going to a college or community college then transferring to a 4 year. However, is there more options rather than the traditional way? #nursing

When looking at colleges and scholarships, it sometimes says that you will receive the money once you are admitted into the school. I am not sure whether this applies to all scholarships or just the ones the colleges offer?
