What are the most rewarding and challenging parts of being a therapist for children and families??
I am currently a double major in Psychology and Human Development. I am considering pursuing a path in counseling, but specifically related to children or families and am curious as to the emotional aspects of this career. Also, what is the best educational path for this career?
What are some things I can do to prepare for and be a good appliant for a child life specialist internship?

Is getting a sociology degree worth it?
I'm a high school senior interested in sociology, but I have heard that it won't set me up well for my future career, or that it's a "useless" degree. I value community engagement, and I enjoy studying how different communities interact with each other, human development and psychology, and I love writing. It sounds like a major that would fit my interests, but is it really a waste of time?
What are some good entry-level jobs for a Human Development major and Minor in Psychology?
(I want to be a child life specialist but I am having a hard time researching jobs that I do not need experience in)
