About

Loop Capacity Manager (LCM/Planner) in Jacksonville Florida, for the Clay St, Riverside, San Jose, San Marco, and Yulee wire centers. Prior to this new Planning position, I was the Project Manager for the North Florida fiber overbuild (FOB) program which consisted of overbuilding 93 wire centers with fiber optic cables beginning at the Florida/Georgia state line and went southward along the east coast down to Port St Lucie/Fort Pierce areas, and westward to the Gainesville, Orlando areas. I have been an outside plant engineer for the past 16 years and prior to entering Engineering, I was a Testing Technician for the Core Maintenance and Chronic Maintenance groups in the Wholesale part of our business (CWINS) for Bellsouth. I helped test and repair 50% of all the whole integrated circuits in a 9-state area for Bellsouth.

For my 10-year Military background, I was a "passive" Sonar Technician (surface). This entailed using Lofargram analysis and passively tracking and classifying primarily Type 2 & 3 Russian nuclear submarines. I have been a C-School Instructor in San Diego for the AN/SQR-19 Tactical towed array and AN/SQQ-28 sonobuoy sonar systems for the last 4 years of my enlistment. These were components of the AN/SQQ-89 Sonar Suite system. And the 6 years prior to that, I operated the 53 and 56 "active" sonar systems. I was a Plankowner of the USS-Leyte Gulf CG-55 and was also stationed on the USS Doyle FFG-39. Both ships were stationed in the Mayport Florida.
My basic training (boot camp), A-School, C-School, and Instructor of C-School were all stationed in San Diego California at FLEASWTRACENPAC base.
