How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
During my senior year of high school it was time to start picking what colleges I wanted to attend and a major. I never had an interest in going to college because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in the future. I expressed this to my college counselor who told me to look through all the possible majors and pick 3 that sound interesting. I’ve always been someone who loves science and that’s when I came across dietetics. I became interested in how food can heal people in a medical setting. I always enjoyed cooking and learning about food but I never thought there was a way to have an entire career around food and helping others.
