When searching for scholarships, what are some keywords or websites to look up and use to find niche scholarships or scholarships that have a low participation rate (for a higher chance of winning) ?
For reference, I am a high school senior looking for scholarships. I want to major in biology or pre-med, and I want to become an optometrist in the future. So far, I've only found one specific scholarship, which was the ACF scholarship. Usually, when I search, the scholarships have expired, or I'm not eligible.
How to I get the Stamps President's Scholarship from Georgia Tech?
Hi, I am a sophomore in high school and I'm determined to receive the the Stamps President's Scholarship from Georgia Tech especially because I want to go to medical school after (I want to be an Emergency Medicine Physician) so I want to have as little debt as possible. I have straight A's, am on track to take the hardest classes, participate in cross country and track, which I received a coach's award in last year, am currently in process of working on my girl scout gold award, my goal being to push for increase in minimum wage and support medical needs of the unhoused, I am in HOSA and Women in Medicine leadership this year, I am in key club, this past summer I was in a shadowing program at a hospital where I also presented an official research project about oral health in the unhoused (I surveyed these people to get my data). I plan to keep doing this program. I am in orchestra. I help my brother, who is on the autism spectrum and needs extra support, basically in most of my free time. I know this Scholarship is practically impossible to get. I am so determined to get there. Stamps President's Scholarship alumni (specifically from georgia tech if possible), or other professionals, please give me advice for how I can make my dream a reality. I have read everything on the website and know how it works but I just want to know if someone can give me specific advice.
