How to I get the Stamps President's Scholarship from Georgia Tech?
Hi, I am a sophomore in high school and I'm determined to receive the the Stamps President's Scholarship from Georgia Tech especially because I want to go to medical school after (I want to be an Emergency Medicine Physician) so I want to have as little debt as possible. I have straight A's, am on track to take the hardest classes, participate in cross country and track, which I received a coach's award in last year, am currently in process of working on my girl scout gold award, my goal being to push for increase in minimum wage and support medical needs of the unhoused, I am in HOSA and Women in Medicine leadership this year, I am in key club, this past summer I was in a shadowing program at a hospital where I also presented an official research project about oral health in the unhoused (I surveyed these people to get my data). I plan to keep doing this program. I am in orchestra. I help my brother, who is on the autism spectrum and needs extra support, basically in most of my free time. I know this Scholarship is practically impossible to get. I am so determined to get there. Stamps President's Scholarship alumni (specifically from georgia tech if possible), or other professionals, please give me advice for how I can make my dream a reality. I have read everything on the website and know how it works but I just want to know if someone can give me specific advice.
How does an incoming college freshman majoring in Business Administration at Georgia Tech find a career path that is perfect for them #Spring25?
I am interested in travel, marketing, and entrepreneurship, so ideally my future career would incorporate those. I also would love a career that is active, such that I am always networking and finding new tasks. What can I do throughout my college career to set myself up for success and opportunities in this field?
Do you think it is worth doing the IB program to get into a top 20 school?
I selected my classes for next year and chose to do the IB program. I am starting to regret that choice. I would rather do partial IB. Do you think It’ll look bad if I drop out of the IB program to do partial IB? My goal is to get into a top 20 school. Also my school is an IB school so they do not offer AP classes. I am currently in 10th grade.
Does Georgia Tech have scholarships which would cover out of state tuition?
Scholarships are critically important to me. I really want to go to this school. However, there is no way I can afford to pay the out of state tuition otherwise. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. #scholarships #outofstate #georgia-tech
I am currently enrolled in Georgia Tech starting this fall, but I am a Global Economics major. Will my major limit my options because I chose to go to a technical school? Can I still have the opportunities an engineering student would have there?
I am currently enrolled in Georgia Tech and will start as a freshman this Fall. Despite Georgia Tech being a technical school, I am interested in Global Economics. Georgia Tech is a very high ranked school and has a variety of science majors but I am afraid my options can be limited because of my non- science major. #college #business #engineering #global-economics #georgia-tech
