Alina Quintana (she/her/hers) is the daughter of immigrants from Michoacan, Mexico and was raised in South Sacramento. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Psychology, Chicanx/Latinx Studies with a Social Policy emphasis, and a minor in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. Her experiences as a first-generation, low income, Latinx, scholar inspired her to pursue a career in the field of education.

Alina's dedication to the service of low income and first generation students has led her to support programs such as College Track, TRIO, EOP&S, CalWORKs, and Folsom Lake College's Probation and Dismissal Program. She is a student service professional who is passionate about deconstructing barriers, advocating for access, equity, and inclusion in spaces of higher education. Through her work in advising, Alina aims to empower students to reach their fullest potentials. Her work in student services inspired her to pursue her Master’s degree in Counseling which is in progress.
