Claudio’s Career Stories

What is the most useful piece of career advice you got as a student, and who gave it to you?

Be like a sponge by absorbing everything you can whilst getting really good at learning new things and redefining yourself.

Did anyone ever oppose your career plans when you were young or push you in a direction you did not want to go?

Yes, unfortunately I was unlucky on more than one occasion and had to deal with really bad leadership/management that created a toxic working environment for me.

When you were a student, did you do anything outside of school to build skills or get knowledge that has helped your career?

Yes, get involved in extra curricular activities: Your university's Alma Matter society, student government, clubs, and other volunteering activities. Shoot for leadership positions/roles in your volunteer work.
