When you were a student, did you do anything outside of school to build skills or get knowledge that has helped your career?
Absolutely! This was a crucial part of figuring out what I wanted to do. I got involved in everything. I was in Key Club and Student Government Association in high school. I was the Vice President of Chapter Promotions for the IT Professionals (AITP) group I was a part of in college. These groups helped me sharpen my skills in areas such as leadership, communication and led me to figure out that I wanted to do something that involved speaking with people and IT at the same time. I took part in mentor programs and national competitions involving different areas in IT.
